M. David Albers, MD, attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, earning his medical degree in 2013. After graduating, he relocated from San Antonio to Louisville, Kentucky, his General Surgery residency in 2018 at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Albers joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2025 as a board-certified general surgeon. Dr. Albers is committed to excellence in surgical technique with the goal of excellent outcomes. He performs a wide range of procedures, including those for the gallbladder, hernias, small bowel, diverticular disease, breast, and more. Dr. Albers specializes in both general and laparoscopic surgery.
